Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association A trade association set up to promote the adoption of Anaerobic Digestion in the UK, and its members, which is funded by its members. (This organisation replaced the word “biogas” in their name to “bioresources” in the Autumn of 2014.)

WRAP – Anaerobic Digestion Section – Promotes resource efficiency and sustainable waste management, in particular creating stable and efficient markets for recycled materials and products.  WRAP is a not-for-profit company funded by the UK government, and is a registered charity.

Environment Agency – UK government agency which administers Environmental Permitting of Biogas Plants, and enforces compliance with all environmental laws.

SEPA – Scottish equivalent of the UK Environment Agency.

DECC – UK Government, Department of Energy and Climate Change.

REA – Renewable Energy Association – Trade association, which represents British renewable energy producers and promotes the use of renewable energy in the UK.
