Anaerobic Digestion Technology Providers: Worldwide
Table of international Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas companies:
Key: TBA - Information to be advised. If we find out ourselves or we are contacted with the details they will be added.
We have included all the companies that appear to provide anaerobic digestion technologies. Not all the companies listed in the table will provide technologies for Municipal Waste processing. Some specialise in the agricultural sector, and others have processes which are primarily treatment processes (eg sewage sludge treatment) rather than biogas/energy production processes.
Is this table up to date? We are certain that since the Juniper report in 2005 there will have been developments which will make this table inaccurate. If you are a technology provider and the table is incorrect or you are not listed, please email us through the Contact Us page, and we will be pleased to update this table, and include a link to your web site.
Featured Biogas Companies
CiTEC - Finnish based Designer with Biogas Plants operating in Finland, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Japan
Kompogas - Swiss based with more than a dozen Anaerobic Digestion Plants in operation worldwide. UK subsidiary company in Scotland. Presented a paper to the CIWM’s Annual Conference, June 2006, Torbay, UK.
The Juniper Report 2005,
|
Did you know that: Approximately one-third of the 80 operating MBT plants produce at least some biogas via anaerobic digestion. The underlying AD technology used, however, varies, depending upon the supplier and the plant configuration.
|
|
lists the Operating AD technologies in MBT plants treating MSW as:-
Ros Roca, Grontmij, SBI, ArrowBio, BTA, GRL*, Haase, ISKA*, Linde, Wehrle* Hese, Valorga, Linde, OWS, Valorga
* These three companies utilise percolation ahead of the digester, in which some hydrolysis takes place.
Based upon: Juniper database (Download full report .) we have compiled the table of technologies below.
The above table was based upon the Juniper Report (no longer available) (Appendix D) table of the technology suppliers and technologies offered when the report was written in 2005. The Juniper report covers AD and Aerobic Composting, we have included the just the AD portion on this page.
US based visitors interested in Agricultural biogas applications should visit AgStar Allies (sorry site has closed down), for a listing of farms with AD systems, and AD Consultants.
