Our potential client is a municipal client in India who is seeking a suitably experienced Biogas Plant technology provider/contractor to design and construct these two plants for their city.
The abattoir waste/AD plant feedstock would be guaranteed for an extended concession period (to be negotiated), and the plant developer/operator would derive income from the electricity exported, and the sale of the digestate.
The successful contractor will be required to fund the project construction, or bring in a funding partner, and be repaid from the revenue from the operational plant.
We would operate the plant with local partners.
The economic prospects for this project are considered to be favourable.
There is very strong demand for quality fertiliser in India to satisfy local demand, and the prices paid are good.
There is a minimum requirement for the successful contractor, and that is that the Contractor will be required to show that the company has completed at least one such installation which has been commissioned and is operating successfully.
